The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has issued an advisory for NEET-PG 2026 candidates, warning them against cyber fraud, identity theft and misuse of personal information during the application and admission process. The Board has asked aspirants to rely only on official communication and avoid sharing confidential examination-related details with unauthorised persons or agencies.
Candidates Warned Against Sharing Credentials
According to the advisory, candidates must not disclose one-time passwords, login credentials, passwords, admit cards, scorecards, identity documents or photographs to coaching institutes, third-party agencies, social media platforms or unknown individuals.
NBEMS cautioned that sharing such information could expose candidates to identity theft, financial fraud and unauthorised access to their examination records. The Board clarified that it has not authorised any private organisation, coaching centre or external agency to collect candidates’ personal or examination-related information.
One Candidate, One Application Rule Reiterated
NBEMS has reiterated its “one candidate, one application” policy for NEET-PG 2026. Each applicant is permitted to submit only one application form for the examination.
If multiple applications are submitted by the same candidate, only the most recent application may be considered, while earlier applications are liable to be rejected. The Board also stated that fees paid for cancelled applications will not be refunded.
Strict Action for Rule Violations
The advisory warns that candidates submitting forged documents, false information or using unfair means at any stage of the examination process may face immediate cancellation of candidature. In serious cases, candidates may also be debarred from future examinations conducted by the Board.
The online application process for NEET-PG 2026 began on July 1 and will remain open until July 21. Eligible candidates have been advised to apply through the official NBEMS portal, review all information carefully before final submission and report suspicious communications through appropriate channels.
