Wipro and CrowdStrike have launched a new CISO Command Centre aimed at helping large companies detect cyber threats, understand business risk and respond faster as artificial intelligence accelerates attacks.

The joint offering brings Wipro’s cybersecurity services together with CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform. It is designed to give Chief Information Security Officers, or CISOs, a single view of security risks across employee devices, cloud systems, identities and increasingly, AI tools.

The launch comes as security teams face a basic problem: attackers are moving faster than conventional corporate defence systems.

CrowdStrike says the average time taken by an attacker to move from one compromised system into another has fallen to just 29 minutes. In the fastest case recorded in its 2026 threat data, that movement happened in only 27 seconds.

From hundreds of security alerts to one business risk picture

Large companies rarely rely on a single cybersecurity product.

They may have separate tools watching employee laptops, cloud servers, corporate identities, emails and applications. Each system can generate its own alerts.

The difficulty is deciding which warning actually matters.

Wipro says its CISO Command Centre is designed to move companies away from this fragmented, tool-by-tool approach. Instead, security information is brought together and prioritised according to the potential impact on the business.

That could mean distinguishing between a low-risk vulnerability on an isolated machine and a weakness affecting a critical payment system, customer database or production environment.

The system uses Wipro Intelligence solutions called CyberTransform and CyberShield, supported by CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform. Together, the companies say they can provide protection across endpoint security, cloud security, exposure management and AI security while connecting detection and response through a modern Security Operations Centre.

What exactly are a CISO, SOC and endpoint?

A CISO, or Chief Information Security Officer, is the senior executive responsible for protecting an organisation’s digital systems and data.

A Security Operations Centre, commonly called a SOC, is the team and technology that monitors a company’s systems for suspicious activity. Think of it as a digital control room watching for signs of an intrusion.

An endpoint is simply a device connected to the organisation’s network, such as a laptop, workstation or server.

The important change in the Wipro-CrowdStrike model is that these different security layers are meant to work together rather than functioning as separate control rooms.

Wipro describes the approach as moving from reactive security towards “risk-led” defence. In practical terms, that means finding the most dangerous exposures first and trying to block or contain them before they become full-scale breaches.

AI is creating new targets as well as faster attackers

The partnership is also focused heavily on artificial intelligence.

Wipro is participating in CrowdStrike’s Project QuiltWorks, a programme aimed at identifying and reducing risks created by increasingly powerful AI systems. The partnership includes services for detecting unapproved AI use, testing AI systems for weaknesses and securing both human and machine identities.

One concern is shadow AI.

This happens when employees use AI tools, assistants or agents without the company’s security team knowing. Sensitive internal information can then be uploaded into services that were never approved for corporate data.

AI agents create another complication because they can interact with systems and take actions automatically.

CrowdStrike said this month that AI agents are increasingly capable of accessing enterprise systems and executing tasks at machine speed. Its new Falcon Guardian security technology is designed specifically to monitor AI agents while they are operating.

That means companies now have to protect not only employees and computers, but also AI systems that may be acting on employees’ behalf.

CrowdStrike is pushing towards an “agentic SOC”

The Command Centre also fits into a broader shift underway at CrowdStrike.

On September 2, the company unveiled what it calls the next evolution of the agentic SOC, where human analysts work alongside AI agents during cyber investigations.

Instead of examining endpoint, cloud, identity and network evidence separately, CrowdStrike says multiple AI agents can investigate these areas simultaneously and bring the findings into one security workflow.

Wipro demonstrated this direction at CrowdStrike’s Fal.Con 2026 conference, including how businesses can extend AI-driven security operations across third-party systems such as Microsoft Defender and SentinelOne without replacing all of their existing infrastructure.

That matters because many large companies have spent years building security systems from different vendors. Forcing them to replace everything at once would be expensive and disruptive.

The larger battle is therefore becoming one of speed and visibility.

If AI helps attackers identify weaknesses, automate reconnaissance and move through networks more quickly, defenders will increasingly depend on AI to decide which signals matter and respond before an intrusion spreads.

What this means for you: For employees, AI tools should be treated like any other corporate software: do not upload company data into unapproved services. Businesses should know which AI agents and applications can access sensitive systems before giving them broad permissions.
