Hyderabad police have arrested a 29-year-old man accused of cheating around 10 women, including a minor, of lakhs of rupees by luring them into romantic relationships and then extracting money on various pretexts.
Police identified the accused as Koduri Chandrasekhar Azad, also known as Arjun, a native of Guntur who was residing in Kukatpally. The case was registered at Jubilee Hills police station on a complaint by a minor girl.

According to the complaint, the accused persuaded a minor from Jubilee Hills to part with ₹13.11 lakh after claiming that he was launching a startup. Officials said he had earlier been arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act in connection with the same victim, and after securing bail, allegedly resumed contact and cheated her again.
Wealth Display and Blackmail Angle Under Probe
Police suspect the accused used money collected from victims to buy a car and project a wealthy lifestyle. Investigators believe that this image helped him gain credibility and lure more women into his circle.
In a related development, police booked a car driver’s wife for allegedly blackmailing the minor victim. She is accused of extorting ₹9 lakh by threatening to reveal the victim’s communication with the accused to her parents. Police said that aspect of the case remains under investigation.
Second Complaint Filed as Inquiry Expands
A second woman has also filed a complaint alleging that the accused cheated her in the name of love and took away a gold chain. Police registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and transferred a Zero FIR to Narsingi police station.
Police said the accused has been remanded and further investigation is underway. Officials are examining whether more victims may come forward as the probe widens.
