2. Woman Among 5 Arrested in Rs 6.16 Cr Online Trading Scam
Odisha Cyber Crime Unit arrested five people from Surat, including a woman, in a ₹6.16 crore online trading fraud. The accused duped a Berhampur man via fake crypto trading on ZAIF after befriending him on Facebook. Incriminating evidence was seized, and several bank accounts have been frozen. 4. Fake Call Centre Rackets Busted at IT Park and Condo by Cyber Cell
Bengal Cyber Cell and Bidhannagar Police busted three illegal call centres in Kolkata, arresting 27, including four women.
