The land scam reportedly revolved around a 10% payment policy for land allotments in Noida. Under Singh’s administration, this scheme was exploited to benefit several large developers, including well-known companies like Amrapali and Supertech, causing thousands of crores in losses to the state exchequer. Real estate developers were allegedly granted lands at undervalued rates, leading to massive financial gains for those involved while the state lost significant revenue. Singh is also believed to have played a central role in favoring these developers, ensuring that they reaped the benefits of this corrupt system.

Mohinder Singh is one of the key accused in this land scam, where a controversial 10% land payment allocation scheme was used to facilitate these illegal transactions. The ED is also investigating other assets tied to Singh, both domestically and abroad, as the case unfolds.
