Ajmer Cyber Police Arrest MP Man in ₹16 Lakh Online Fraud Case

Ajmer Cyber Police have arrested a Madhya Pradesh resident in connection with an alleged online fraud of ₹16 lakh. Police said the accused, identified as Aditya, was traced on the basis of technical evidence and information gathered during the investigation.

Accused Traced to Madhya Pradesh

A team from Ajmer Cyber Police Station travelled to Madhya Pradesh after locating the accused. Police said Aditya tried to escape after spotting the team.

During the chase, he allegedly jumped from a height of about 15 feet. Heavy rain had made the ground wet and slippery, creating difficulties for the officers pursuing him.

Dramatic Chase Before Arrest

Police said two personnel also slipped and fell during the chase. Despite this, the team continued pursuing the accused.

After considerable effort, Police managed to catch him.

Bank Account Under Probe

After the arrest, Aditya was brought to Ajmer and questioned in connection with the online fraud case.

Police said information obtained during questioning pointed to a bank account allegedly linked to the fraud. Transactions of around ₹6.30 lakh were found in the account, and police are now examining those transactions.

₹16 Lakh Fraud Case

The arrest was made as part of the investigation into an alleged online fraud involving ₹16 lakh. Police are examining the financial trail and the role of the arrested accused in the case.

The investigation is continuing to determine how the alleged fraud was carried out and whether others were involved.

Search for Other Accused

Police are looking for other suspected associates who may be connected with the case. Investigators are questioning Aditya and examining information obtained during the probe to trace them.

The inquiry remains underway as police work to establish the full extent of the alleged online fraud and identify others who may have played a role.
