Authorities said the examination process was supported by multiple verification and surveillance measures. E-KYC authentication and biometric verification were used at several centres to check impersonation and cheating attempts.
Officials also monitored social media platforms during the examination period to detect misleading content and prevent rumours from affecting the recruitment process.
Impersonation And Forgery Cases Reported
Despite the arrangements, isolated cases of malpractice were detected in a few districts. Fraud and impersonation cases were reported from Gautam Buddha Nagar and Aligarh, where individuals were allegedly found using forged documents or attempting to appear on behalf of registered candidates.
Legal action was initiated in these cases, leading to the registration of cases and arrests. In Kanpur Nagar, a candidate was detained for further verification after officials raised doubts over the authenticity of submitted documents.
According to official data, 12 cases related to irregularities have been registered so far in connection with the examination. Nine individuals have been arrested, while investigations are continuing in the remaining cases.
Board Promises Strict Action
The recruitment board also acted against people accused of spreading misleading information about the examination. Several social media users were booked for allegedly circulating false or deceptive videos and posts related to the exam process.
Officials said sensitive centres were kept under CCTV surveillance, while real-time monitoring teams were deployed to identify suspicious activity. Candidate identity verification was strictly enforced at entry points to prevent impersonation.
With the written examination phase now complete, candidates are awaiting further announcements on the next stages of recruitment, which may include physical efficiency tests, document verification and medical examinations. The board has said all reported irregularities are being investigated and strict action will continue against anyone attempting to compromise the recruitment process.
