In a major step to democratize cybersecurity education, the Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF), incubated by IIT Kanpur’s AIIDE, has launched its Campus Ambassador Program under the Cyber Safe India initiative. The program invites college and university students from across India to become official representatives of FCRF on their campuses.

Selected ambassadors will act as the face of FCRF, promoting its mission to combat cybercrime and enhance digital safety. They will organize awareness drives, coordinate peer-learning sessions, conduct workshops on cyber hygiene, and collaborate with local authorities and faculty to build cyber-safe campuses.

These student leaders will also serve as liaisons between FCRF and their institutions, helping the Foundation roll out research initiatives, surveys, and cybersecurity campaigns in academic ecosystems.

Exclusive Webinars, Course Discounts, and National Networking

The FCRF Campus Ambassador Program is more than just a badge—it’s a growth accelerator. Each ambassador will receive:

  • Direct access to regular live webinars and mentorship sessions from top voices in the cybersecurity industry, including digital forensics experts, cyber law professionals, threat analysts, and ex-police cyber officers.

  • Special discounts and rebates on all certification programs and training modules offered by FCRF Academy, including its flagship courses on Digital Forensics, Cyber Law, and Cyber Crisis Management.

  • National recognition and internship opportunities, with merit-based recommendations for top-performing ambassadors.

Ambassadors will also get early access to event passes for the prestigious FutureCrime Summit and priority participation in state-level cyber safety initiatives like CyberSafe Uttar Pradesh.

Grooming Future Leaders in Cybersecurity and Law

FCRF’s Campus Ambassador Program is designed to nurture a generation of students passionate about digital justice, law, and forensics. Apart from technical knowledge, ambassadors will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Leadership and public speaking, by hosting seminars and representing FCRF in campus discussions

  • Social media advocacy, by driving campaigns through Instagram, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp channels

  • Community engagement, by conducting surveys and feedback loops to assess student awareness

  • Research collaboration, by contributing to FCRF’s white papers, newsletters, and case studies

The Foundation emphasizes inclusivity, encouraging applications from students across all academic streams—law, computer science, humanities, and business.

“We are building not just cyber defenders, but ethical leaders who understand the societal impact of technology,” said Prof. Triveni Singh, Chief Mentor at FCRF.
