Root64, foundation in association with Noida Police conducted a two days workshop on Cyber Crime Investigation, Digital and IT Act.

With the vision of Shri Alok Singh, Noida Commissioner to train 300 police personnel to tackle cyber crimes this workshop was organised dealing extensively with topics such as Investigation Methods in Cyber Crime against Women and Children, Legal Frame Work and IT Act 2008, Digital Forensics, Banking and Financial Crimes Investigation.

Key speakers in the first day of two day training were Mr. Sanjay Gautam, DSP CBI, Ms. Khushbu Jain, Advocate, Supreme Court, Mr. Rakshit Tandon, Cyber Expert, Mr. Utsav Mittal, Forensic Expert, Satyendra Sharma, PNB.

Shri Nitin Tiwari, DCP Noida says that there has been increase in the crime with Information technology as its part and therefore requirement of the police personnel to have knowledge of cyber law, tools-techniques and digital forensics is must.

Amit Dubey of root64 says that cyber trainings are necessary part of policing as the tools and modus oprendi of the criminals using technology is different and growing at very fast pace hence these trainings enable the law enforcement to tackle new age cyber crimes.
