The Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF) is proud to announce the FCRF Excellence Awards for Cyber Policing, set to be presented at the FutureCrime Summit 2025. These awards aim to honor outstanding contributions in cybercrime investigation, technical leadership, capacity building, cyber forensic infrastructure, and cyber awareness programs within State Police Forces, other law enforcement agencies(LEAs) like Enforcement Directorate(ED), Cyber Bureau of Investigation(CBI), Serious Fraud Investigation Office(SFIO), National Investigation Agency(NIA), Income Tax and GST and Intelligence Agencies Like Intelligence Bureau(IB) and other Defence Cyber Entities.
Award Categories:
- Best Cybercrime Investigator (Individual): Recognizing exceptional individuals who have demonstrated excellence in investigating and solving cybercrimes.
- Best Supervisory Technical Leadership (Individual): Honoring leaders who have provided outstanding technical guidance and supervision in cyber policing initiatives.
- Capacity Building/Training for (State/Other LEAs): Acknowledging efforts in enhancing the skills and capabilities of state agencies and LEAs through effective training programs.
- Cyber Forensic Infrastructure (State/Other LEAs): Celebrating the development and implementation of robust cyber forensic infrastructures within state agencies and LEAs.
- Cyber Awareness Program (State/Other LEAs): Recognizing initiatives aimed at raising cyber awareness and promoting best practices among the public and within organizations.
Eligibility:
The awards are open to individuals ranging from Constables to IPS Officers, as well as para-policing staff, who have made significant contributions in the respective categories.
Nomination Process:
Nominations are open until December 31, 2024. Submissions should include a detailed profile of the nominee, highlighting their achievements and impact in the field of cyber policing. Nominations can be submitted via email to contact@futurecrime.org.
