Kumud Bajaj of Root64 Foundation Bags Prestigious Cyber Safety Award by ASSOCHAM
NEW DELHI: Renowned cyber security expert Kumud Bajaj Dubey was awarded in the Cyber Safe category by industry body – ASSOCHAM. Kumud who is co-founder of Noida based NGO Root64 InfoSec Research Foundation got the recognition in the virtual awards & conclave on Women in Cyber – Making a difference organized by The Associated Chambers of Commerce of India (ASSOCHAM).
IIT graduate Kumud is also one of the advising members of The420.in and have been instrumental in spreading cyber awareness.
Along with Kumud, other eminent women were also felicitated in different categories for their contribution in cyber security which included Mini Rani Sharma, Rural Development Department, Government of Jharkhand, Dr Arti Noor, C-DAC, Swati Manoj Pande, The Maharashtra State Co-op. Banks’ Association Ltd, Urbasi Sinha, Raman Research Institute, Shivangi Nadkarni from Arrka Infosec Private Limited, Smita Jain, Microsoft India, Misha Mehra, DRDO, Puneet Bhasin, Cyberjure Legal Consulting and Samidha Chaudhari, Tata Consultancy Services Limited.
Kumud has over 19 years of experience in the software industry with leading MNCs like Alcatel Lucent, Mentor graphics and Cadence Design systems, Kumud has been a part of senior management and thought leaders of the organizations. At present, she is working with Boeing India as a Senior ASIC verification Engineer.
Being a prominent speaker and a well-sought name in national and international conferences, she has been regularly quoted in Indian print and electronic media on global issues. She has been invited by various Indian government bodies, including its defense forces to train their cyber professionals.
Along with her team, she has conducted various events for capacity building and cyber safety awareness in association with state police departments and UNICEF. She has supported various government initiatives in their technical reviews and audits, especially the smart city initiatives of the Government of India. She is involved in awareness campaigns and promoting digital India through her NGO.
She has been involved actively in Cadence Design System for solving complex design problems using Machine Learning Algorithms.
