IAS Manish Kumar Verma Leads Special Campaign for Quality Testing of Milk and Dairy Products in Gautam Buddha Nagar

Noida: Under the directives of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma, a special campaign was launched by the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department to ensure the availability of pure food and beverages for the residents of the district. This campaign aims to verify the quality of milk and dairy products being sold in the area.

Assistant Commissioner Food II, Archana Dhiran, informed that a special campaign was conducted under the leadership of Chief Food Safety Officer Akshay Goyal. During this campaign, a total of 10 samples of milk from various brands and 8 samples of dairy products were collected for quality testing.

Food Safety Officer R.P. Gupta collected paneer samples from Toy Boy Restaurant located in Garden Galleria, as well as milk samples from Starbucks and Tokai Blue. Food Safety Officer Ram Naresh collected milk and paneer samples from Fresh Signature in Sector-93 and milk samples from DLF Mall in Sector-18. Food Safety Officer Renu Singh collected curd samples from Siddh Baba Sweets in Sirsa Panchayat, milk samples from Shanti Dairy, and another milk sample from Kasna.

Food Safety Officer Vijay Bahadur collected milk and curd samples from Suman Dairy in Jewar. Food Safety Officer Vishal Gupta collected Namaste India brand milk and curd samples from Greater Noida West. Food Safety Officer Mukesh collected milk and paneer samples from Sector-2 Noida and Ananda brand milk samples from Sector-63 Noida.

Assistant Commissioner Food II stated that samples from almost all major milk brands sold in Gautam Buddha Nagar were collected for testing. All samples have been sent to the government laboratory for analysis. Based on the test results, further actions will be taken.

Additionally, a notice was issued to the shop operator of Safal Store in Sector-47 for selling low-quality fruits and vegetables following complaints about their quality.
