Delhi Police Southern Range, I4C, and FCRF to Host CyberSmart Delhi at IIIT Delhi on February 22 to Raise Cyber Awareness

With Nukkad Nataks, a Cyber Tunnel for Cyber Hygiene, Q&A sessions, a Cyber Quiz, and awareness videos, the initiative aims to educate citizens on cyber threats and best practices to stay safe online. Citizens of all age groups are encouraged to attend and participate.

New Delhi, February 20, 2025 – In a major initiative to promote cyber safety and awareness among citizens, the Delhi Police Southern Range, in collaboration with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) and the Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF), is set to organize CyberSmart Delhi on February 22, 2025. The event will take place at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Delhi, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The cyber awareness event is being organized under the leadership of Joint CP Shri S.K. Jain, DCP South East Shri Ravi Singh, DCP South Shri Ankit Singh, ADCP South East Shri Harsh Indora, and ADCP South Shri Achin Garg. With the rapid rise in cyber frauds and online scams, the initiative aims to educate citizens about evolving digital threats and equip them with practical strategies to stay safe online.

A Multi-Faceted Awareness Drive

CyberSmart Delhi will feature a range of interactive sessions, expert discussions, and engaging activities designed to help people understand online risks and best practices for cyber hygiene. The event’s key attractions include:

🔹 Keynote Sessions by Experts – Renowned cybersecurity professionals, including RJ Raunac, Dr. Rakshit Tandon, and Amit Dubey, will address the audience, shedding light on common cyber frauds, social media scams, financial frauds, and essential online safety measures.

🔹 Nukkad Nataks (Street Plays) – Specially curated street performances will depict real-life cybercrime scenarios, providing a visually engaging and impactful way for attendees to learn about cyber frauds, phishing scams, and digital safety.

🔹 Cyber Tunnel for Cyber Hygiene – A walk-through experience showcasing real-world cyber threats and preventive measures to encourage safe digital practices among participants.

🔹 Q&A Sessions & Cyber Quiz – Citizens will get an opportunity to interact directly with cybersecurity experts, ask their doubts, and participate in an engaging Cyber Quiz to test their knowledge about digital threats and security measures.

🔹 Cyber Awareness Videos – A series of informative videos will be played to educate attendees about different forms of cyber fraud and ways to prevent them.

The event is open to all citizens, including students, professionals, parents, and senior citizens. In today’s digital age, where cyber frauds have become increasingly sophisticated, raising awareness is critical for individuals of all demographics.
