Dubai Police has expanded access to several routine law-enforcement services through its “On The Go” initiative, allowing residents to handle matters such as minor accident reports, lost-property deliveries, cybercrime complaints and other non-emergency services without visiting a police station.

The initiative combines services offered through fuel stations with digital platforms and mobile applications. Launched in 2015, it initially focused on enabling motorists to report minor accidents at ENOC service stations. The network has since expanded from five locations to nearly 2,000 service points, with services available at autopro, ENOC, ADNOC and Emarat stations in Dubai.

Minor accident reports available at fuel stations

Dubai Police encourages motorists involved in minor, non-emergency accidents to use the On The Go service rather than calling 999 when the vehicles remain drivable, nobody is injured and all parties agree on what happened.

Motorists can visit a participating fuel station and ask staff to file a simple accident report. They are required to provide a driving licence, vehicle registration card and insurance details. Trained staff inspect the vehicles, photograph the damage and prepare the official accident report, which is provided in digital and printed form. The fee for the service is Dh520.

The initiative also covers “unknown accident” reports, where the responsible motorist is absent or the cause of damage cannot immediately be determined. Dubai Police states that such reports are necessary before repairs can proceed because insurance companies require a police report.

For this service, motorists can take the vehicle to the nearest participating fuel station and provide documents including the vehicle registration card, insurance details and Emirates ID. Staff photograph the damage and report the incident to the authorities before issuing the report needed for an insurance claim. The listed cost is Dh420.

Lost property and cybercrime reports move online

Dubai Police has also introduced a delivery service for recovered lost-and-found belongings. Once a missing item has been reported through the Lost and Found portal or Dubai Police smart application, owners can wait for confirmation that the property has been located and verified.

After confirmation, residents can request doorstep delivery through an approved courier service by calling Dubai Police’s non-emergency number, 901. The recovered item can be delivered to a home, workplace or another location within the UAE.

Cybercrime complaints can also be submitted remotely through Dubai Police’s eCrime Hub. The platform was established for reporting cyber offences and also provides guidance on fraud, compromised devices, job scams and impersonation schemes.

Users can access the eCrime Hub, select the reporting option and submit details of the incident. Supporting evidence such as screenshots, messages, website details, profiles, receipts or emails can be uploaded with the complaint. Users are also asked to provide identifying and contact information before submitting the report.

The eCrime service operates around the clock, with complaints transferred to the relevant department depending on their nature.

Police Eye and Worker’s Voice widen public access

Another service, Police Eye, allows residents and visitors to report suspicious incidents or activities that may affect public safety. Examples include public disturbances, vandalism, traffic violations and other suspicious or potentially criminal activity.

Dubai Police has also made the Worker’s Voice service available for private-sector employees in the emirate. It enables workers to file individual or collective complaints concerning wages, working conditions, accommodation, occupational health and safety, or other employment-related matters involving their companies or establishments.

Worker’s Voice is accessible through the DubaiNow application. Users can sign in using UAE PASS and access the service through the app’s services section.

Together, the expanded services reflect Dubai Police’s wider effort to move routine public interactions beyond traditional police stations by using fuel-station partnerships, mobile applications and dedicated digital platforms.
