RANCHI — Following initial search operations at the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) office, a joint team from the CID and Ranchi Police has expanded its investigation to target the private agency tasked with conducting the recruitment examinations. Investigative officials conducted targeted raids on premises linked to the exam-conducting agency, TDPL, as part of an ongoing probe into reported irregularities within the commission.
Three Held and Premises Sealed During Raids
During the operation, law enforcement authorities taken three individuals associated with the agency into custody. In addition to detaining the suspects, the investigation team formally sealed the office premises of the agency. Officers seized several critical items during the search, including pen drives, hard drives, diaries, and key documentation, all of which have been taken into custody for detailed forensic examination.
Initial Search Operations at Commission Headquarters
The action against the conducting agency follows a preliminary raid where CID and Ranchi Police teams surrounded the main JPSC office. During that phase of the operation, investigators thoroughly examined available official records and crucial documents present at the headquarters. The entire law enforcement action is being carried out on the basis of formal complaints alleging operational discrepancies and administrative irregularities in the examination process.
Sustained Interrogations and Digital Evidence Scrutiny
Investigating agencies are currently continuing a comprehensive inquiry into the matter. The three detained individuals are presently undergoing detailed questioning by officials. Authorities expect that further analysis of the seized digital media, hard drives, diaries, and official papers will yield key disclosures regarding the scope of the alleged irregularities.
