Tripura Director General of Police Anurag Dhankar was found dead inside his office chamber at the Police Headquarters in Agartala on Monday. According to preliminary information, the body of the 1994-batch senior Indian Police Service officer was found hanging inside the office. He was immediately rushed to Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital, where doctors declared him dead at 12:48 p.m. While authorities have not officially confirmed the cause of death, a comprehensive investigation into the incident is currently underway.
