Guwahati | The Directorate of Enforcement (ED), Guwahati Zonal Office, has provisionally attached movable and immovable assets worth approximately ₹5.54 crore in connection with its investigation into the Jeevan Suraksha Group of Companies and its directors over an alleged multi-crore Ponzi and money circulation scheme. The action has been taken under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
According to the ED, the attachment forms part of an ongoing money laundering investigation involving the Jeevan Suraksha Group and its directors. The agency is probing alleged financial transactions linked to the suspected Ponzi and money circulation scheme, as well as assets believed to represent the proceeds of crime.

During the investigation, the ED identified movable and immovable assets valued at around ₹5.54 crore, which it believes are linked to the alleged proceeds of crime. These assets have been provisionally attached under the PMLA. The agency has not yet disclosed the detailed list of the attached properties.
The ED stated that the investigation is focused on tracing how investors’ funds were collected and utilised, identifying the assets acquired through the alleged scheme, and determining whether other individuals or entities were involved. Investigators are also examining financial transactions, banking records and other relevant documents as part of the probe.
The investigation remains ongoing, and the ED is continuing to identify additional assets, beneficiaries and possible associates connected to the case. Further legal action will be taken in accordance with the law based on the evidence collected during the investigation. The agency emphasised that the current action is part of the money laundering probe, and the final findings will be determined through the investigation and subsequent judicial proceedings.
