A Jaipur-based family whose five members cleared NEET in 2025 and secured admissions to government medical colleges is now at the centre of the widening NEET paper leak investigation, after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested key family members over their alleged links to the exam fraud network. Investigators are examining whether the family’s sudden academic rise was linked to the alleged circulation of leaked examination papers.

Five Family Members Cleared NEET, Probe Raises Questions

According to investigators, multiple members of the Biwal family from Jaipur secured MBBS admissions in Rajasthan and other states after clearing NEET 2025. The development had earlier attracted attention on social media and among coaching institutes, where the family’s success story was widely celebrated.

However, the investigation later focused on the family after the CBI arrested Dinesh Biwal, his brother Mangilal Biwal, and Mangilal’s son Vikas in connection with the alleged paper leak case. Authorities are now examining whether leaked question papers were used to secure admissions into medical colleges.

Investigators reportedly found that some members of the Jaipur-based Biwal family had shown only average academic performance in earlier school examinations, internal coaching assessments, and mock NEET tests before recording an unusually sharp rise in their final NEET scores. According to reports examined by investigators, the sudden improvement in marks became one of the key factors that drew the attention of agencies probing the alleged paper leak network.

CBI Probing Multi-State Paper Leak Network

The CBI investigation has revealed an alleged multi-state network involving the circulation of NEET question papers through intermediaries, coaching operators, and digital channels. Officials suspect the leaked paper originated from Maharashtra before being distributed across Rajasthan, Haryana, and other states through couriers, WhatsApp groups, and PDF copies.

According to reports, investigators believe the question paper was scanned and converted into PDF files before circulation among students connected to coaching hubs in Rajasthan’s Sikar region.

Authorities are also examining financial transactions allegedly linked to the leak operation, with reports suggesting that leaked papers were sold for large sums to candidates and intermediaries.

Coaching Network and ‘Shadow Figures’ Under Scanner

The probe has expanded beyond the Biwal family to include coaching operators, consultants, and suspected middlemen allegedly connected to the leak network. Investigators are questioning several individuals in Rajasthan and Maharashtra over their possible roles in distributing the paper and arranging admissions.

Reports indicated that investigators are tracking individuals accused of circulating “guess papers” and operating consultancy networks allegedly linked to the scam. Several suspects remain under surveillance as agencies attempt to trace the full extent of the alleged operation.

The CBI and Rajasthan Police have also reportedly seized electronic devices, documents, and digital communication records during searches connected to the investigation.

NEET Leak Case Intensifies Scrutiny on Exam Security

The case has renewed nationwide concerns over the integrity of competitive examinations and the role of organized networks in paper leak operations. Authorities are investigating whether the alleged racket exploited digital communication tools and coaching ecosystems to distribute confidential examination material.

The NEET paper leak controversy has already triggered arrests across multiple states, with agencies continuing to investigate possible links between coaching centres, consultants, and intermediaries allegedly involved in the operation.
