UP Police Launches Cyber Crime Website- Bookmark It for Instant Help!

State Bureau, Lucknow: In a bid to strengthen the fight against cybercrime, the Uttar Pradesh Police has launched its dedicated cybercrime website—cyberpolice.uppolice.gov.in. The platform aims to provide victims with comprehensive support and easy access to crucial information, all in one place.
The website features a directory of cyber police stations across the state, including details of officers and district-level nodal officers. It also allows users to track the status of their complaints and stay updated on actions taken by the police. Additionally, the platform will serve as a tool to promote awareness about cybercrime prevention.
DGP Unveils the Initiative
The website was inaugurated at the Police Headquarters by DGP Prashant Kumar, who highlighted the UP Police’s commitment to combating cybercrime through advanced technology. The DGP shared that cybercrime police stations are now operational in all districts, with cyber help desks set up at every police station to provide immediate assistance to victims.
“Cases of cybercrime are rising rapidly, and there is an urgent need for more trained personnel to tackle these challenges,” said the DGP. He added that regular training for police officers is being conducted in collaboration with experts from the UP State Institute of Forensic Science.

ADG Cyber Crime BK Singh emphasized that the website would play a key role in improving public awareness about cybercrime. Efforts are underway to ensure the website is regularly updated with new features to meet the evolving needs of users.
Additionally, the website includes essential information about the upcoming Maha Kumbh 2025, with links to security measures and other vital updates.
