Noida: Rs 8 Lakh Worth of Restricted E-Cigarettes from China and Gulf Countries Seized, Mastermind Arrested

In a significant crackdown on illegal e-cigarette sales, the Noida Police from Sector 39 arrested one suspect along with a vehicle used in the incident, seizing restricted electronic cigarettes worth approximately 800,000 rupees that were coming from China and Gulf countries. Authorities in Sector 41 acted on intelligence from the local police team, leading to the arrest of a man suspected of supplying e-cigarettes to the youth in the area. This operation aimed to address growing concerns about the negative impact of these products on local youth.

Following the investigation, a search operation was conducted, resulting in the recovery of approximately 800,000 e-cigarettes from a vehicle in Sector 37. The sheer volume of goods seized highlights the scale of the operation and the ongoing issue of illegal vaping products in the community.

The arrested individual is currently undergoing interrogation and has been placed in judicial custody as the investigation continues. Police are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to the sale of e-cigarettes, especially to minors.
