Cyber Singham 2 Released: Web Series Inspired By Prof Triveni Singh To Solve Online Child Trafficking
MUMBAI: After the huge success of ‘Cyber Singham’ a web series based on Prof Triveni Singh, its second season was released on the Apex Prime OTT platform on Independence Day.
The real-life web series is inspired by Prof Singh’s life who is a senior IPS officer and the man behind cracking most technical cases of cyber crime and digital frauds.
The trailer of Apex Prime’s thriller web series Cyber Singham – Ek Naya Adhyay depicts the harsh reality of missing children. Shockingly every 8 minutes a child goes missing in India.
Cyber Singham Season 2 premiered on Apex Prime on August 15th, with the theme of missing girls.
Two days before our Independence Day, on August 13th, Apex Prime OTT released a nail-biting trailer for its Original Web Series – Cyber Singham Season 2 at Red Bulb Studio in Mumbai, which has piqued the audience’s interest.

Audiences’ excitement has increased following the release of the trailer, and expectations have skyrocketed in anticipation of the release of the entire series.
According to Soumita Das, Head of OTT Apex Prime, “the series stands out from the others due to the spectacular performances by Kapil Soni and Paras Madan, who play police officers.” Furthermore, it is unusual to see Vyomika Upreti play a cop, as well as Uchhay Chakraborty, who also plays an important role.

The trailer of Cyber Singham was highly praised by guest actress Shweta Khanduri and Mansi Srivastava who were present at the trailer launch, among others.
The series is based on the real-life experiences of IPS officer Professor Triveni Singh, who is spearheading cyber crime investigation in Uttar Pradesh. He is referred to as the Cyber Cop of India due to his expertise in cyber crime investigation and vast knowledge of widespread banking fraud in India.
In the first season, each episode was dedicated to highly technical cybercrime cases. This is one-of-its-kind series as it not only captures thrilling crime stories but also gives deep insight into the technical aspect of the investigation that cyber police do in cracking such cases. IIT Kanpur incubated startup Future Crime Research Foundation is the knowledge partner of the project.
According to Soumita Das, Cyber Singham is a series based on true cyber crime incidents produced by Varchasva Media Pvt Ltd and Anand Mohan Sharma.
Paras Madan, the business operating officer, is the husband of Soumita Das, the Apex Prime OTT director. Other than the thrilling web series Cyber Singham, Apex Prime has a variety of upcoming web series and interesting short films such as Lottery, Hastinapur, and Rob the Party, to name a few. Apex Prime OTT is available for download from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Prof. Triveni Singh has been honoured by the President of India with the Police Medal for Gallantry (PMG). He is better known as India’s CyberCop for his work as a Cyber Crime Investigation Specialist. He has worked with nearly every sort of cybercriminal and has examined over 200 types of cybercrime, leading to the arrest of thousands of criminals through a rigorous technical investigation procedure. He is well-known for his knowledge of financial and banking frauds. He also serves as a resource for a number of government departments and judicial authorities.
