ISIS Kashmir Sends Death Threat To Gautam Gambhir; Police Track Origin And Sender
NEW DELHI: Delhi Police’s Cyber cell is trying to track who sent a death threat to BJP MP and former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir. In a significant development, Gambhir has allegedly received a second death threat through an email from ISIS Kashmir.
Gambhir received the second death threat, which came with a video from outside his home. The former cricketer approached the police and they have immediately increased security around his home and are investigating the incident.
This time around the email sender attached a video of Gambhir’s property. The threat email to Gambhir reads, “We wanted to murder you, but you escaped yesterday. If you value your family’s lives, stay away from politics and the Kashmir conflict.”
Shweta Chauhan, DCP Central, said, “Gautam Gambhir has made a written report about the death threat.” He received the threat using his official email address. Outside his house, security has been beefed up as well.”
