Who is PCS Swati Shukla, the SDM facing action by the Yogi government?
Farrukhabad: Swati Shukla, currently serving as the Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) in Farrukhabad, has been suspended by the state government and reassigned to the Revenue Board. The suspension is connected to her previous tenure in Hardoi district, where she allegedly facilitated the allocation of land to 71 ineligible individuals.
During her time as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Hardoi, it was discovered that approximately 71 land allotments were made in Sadar Tehsil’s Faridapur village, some of which were granted to individuals who already owned land. Following complaints and an investigation, these land allocation proposals were canceled.
