Lucknow | The Recruitment Board has issued a strict advisory to maintain the integrity of the upcoming police recruitment examination for sub-inspector and equivalent posts. Authorities have warned that sharing, discussing, or circulating any question paper, exam material, or preparation-related content on social media during the examination scheduled on March 14 and 15 will invite strict legal action. The administration has clearly stated that any attempt to disrupt the examination system will be treated as a serious offense.
The board’s guidelines prohibit the publication, reproduction, distribution, storage, or sharing of any exam-related information on social media platforms, video channels, or other digital media. Special monitoring is being carried out against content creators and online platform operators who publish material related to the examination. Officials emphasized that maintaining transparency and fairness in the examination process remains the top priority.

The board also stated that special surveillance teams have been formed to track suspicious activities on social media in view of the possibility of question paper leaks or rumor spreading. These teams will continuously monitor internet platforms and investigate suspicious content. Anyone found sharing examination material in any form will face legal action.
The instructions further clarify that carrying the original OMR sheet or any official document outside the examination center is strictly prohibited. If any candidate is found unlawfully possessing examination material, they may be immediately disqualified from the examination. Such cases may also attract action under the Public Examination Prevention of Unfair Means Act.
Authorities said that the digital age has introduced new challenges regarding examination security. Some individuals attempt to create speculation-based content about question papers before the examination and circulate it on social media, causing confusion among candidates. Strict measures are being taken to prevent such activities.
The Recruitment Board has also advised candidates not to rely on unauthorized sources for examination-related information. Candidates are encouraged to use only the official syllabus and approved study materials for preparation. Officials warned that candidates found using unfair means may be disqualified from the examination process.
Experts believe that technical monitoring and public awareness are both essential to maintaining the credibility of public examinations. With the increasing use of internet platforms, the possibility of spreading exam-related rumors has increased, prompting authorities to remain alert in advance.
Joint teams of police and recruitment board officials are also reviewing security arrangements at examination centers. CCTV surveillance and other security measures will be ensured during the examination. Authorities stated that strict action will be taken against anyone violating exam confidentiality.
The Recruitment Board has appealed to citizens and candidates to act responsibly and immediately report any suspicious activity to the concerned authorities. The administration aims to ensure that the examination process is conducted in a fully transparent, fair, and secure environment.
