Territorial Army Partners with CyberPeace for ‘Terrier Cyber Quest 2024’ as Part of 75th Anniversary
The Territorial Army, in collaboration with CyberPeace, has launched ‘Terrier Cyber Quest 2024,’ a national cybersecurity challenge to celebrate its 75th anniversary. The event offers participants a chance to compete in three exciting tracks—AeroQuest, Capture the Flag (CTF), and DataThon—each designed to showcase skills in drone technology, cybersecurity, and data-driven innovation. Winners will receive prestigious awards and an exclusive interaction with the Chief of Army Staff, making this a career-enhancing opportunity for participants.
To celebrate its 75th anniversary, the Territorial Army has teamed up with CyberPeace to launch the national-level ‘Terrier Cyber Quest 2024.’ This cyber challenge is designed to foster innovation in cybersecurity and emerging technologies, providing a competitive platform for India’s brightest minds. The initiative aims to push the boundaries of technology and problem-solving capabilities, engaging participants from diverse sectors including industry, academia, government, civil societies, and students.
The event, structured to inspire the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, features three dynamic tracks:
1. AeroQuest – A thrilling drone race where participants will demonstrate their expertise in aerial surveillance and tactical maneuvering. Competitors will navigate challenging courses designed to showcase their drone technology skills.
2. Capture the Flag (CTF) – In this intense cybersecurity challenge, participants will race against the clock to solve complex cybersecurity scenarios. This track tests their technical prowess in identifying vulnerabilities and securing systems under real-world, high-pressure conditions.
3. DataThon – A data-focused challenge that invites participants to develop innovative solutions to detect and mitigate deepfake threats. This track addresses a critical cybersecurity issue with implications for public safety and digital integrity.

Competition Process and Prizes
The registration for Terrier Cyber Quest 2024 is open on www.cyberchallenge.in, with participants required to complete the process by 20th September 2024. The event will culminate in a final competition round from 2nd to 4th October 2024 at the United Service Institution (USI), New Delhi, where participants will compete in person. The winners will be announced on 5th October, followed by an exclusive interaction with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) on 7th October 2024 at the prestigious Manekshaw Centre.
All participants will receive medallions and certificates from the Territorial Army in recognition of their efforts and contributions. In addition to attractive prizes, the event provides boarding and lodging for finalists during the competition. Top performers will also have the unique opportunity to contribute to the Territorial Army Innovation Cell (TAIC), furthering technological advancements within the defense sector.
