SentinelOne, in partnership with Schwarz Digits, has unveiled a sovereign AI-powered cybersecurity platform designed specifically for the European market. The initiative, announced this week, is built on STACKIT’s cloud infrastructure, which operates entirely under German jurisdiction.

The platform integrates SentinelOne’s patented artificial intelligence and behavioural analysis with STACKIT’s sovereign cloud, addressing growing concerns about data sovereignty, compliance, and cybersecurity resilience within the European Union.

AI-Powered Defence with Sovereign Control

At the core of the system is SentinelOne’s Storyline technology, which autonomously detects, investigates, and responds to threats across endpoints, cloud workloads, identities, and sensitive data. By providing deep visibility and contextualized insights, the technology enables security teams to accelerate incident response to near real-time speeds.

Running natively on STACKIT’s German-based cloud, the solution delivers endpoint detection and response (EDR), managed detection and response (MDR), and extended detection and response (XDR), as well as cloud workload protection platforms (CWPP), cloud-native application protection platforms (CNAPP), and AI-driven data security features such as SIEM and hyperautomation.

The collaboration comes at a time when European companies face mounting pressure to comply with evolving regulatory frameworks while securing critical infrastructure from increasingly complex cyberattacks.

Meeting Europe’s Compliance and Policy Demands

The new platform is designed to comply with Europe’s strictest regulatory frameworks, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Network and Information Security Directive 2 (NIS2), and the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). STACKIT’s infrastructure also carries ISO 27001 and C5 certifications from Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security, reinforcing its sovereign credentials.

Rolf Schumann, Co-CEO of Schwarz Digits, emphasised the importance of technological independence, stating that in Europe, they must use and further develop cutting-edge technology without giving away their data. Otherwise, they will lose their innovative strength and economic power.

The partnership aligns with upcoming EU policy frameworks such as the Cloud and AI Development Act (CAIDA), which is expected to expand sovereign EU cloud infrastructure for critical applications. By combining SentinelOne’s Singularity platform with STACKIT’s compliance-driven cloud, Schwarz Digits aims to offer European enterprises a robust, future-proof cybersecurity solution that keeps sensitive data within regional borders.

The initiative also complements Schwarz Digits’ existing portfolio, including XM Cyber’s Continuous Exposure Management platform, to provide a proactive, integrated approach to identifying risks, mapping attack paths, and automating remediation.
