Quack Doctors Busted: Ghazipur Police Take Down Illegal Medical Racket

In a crackdown on unlicensed medical practitioners, the Shadiabad Police have arrested four individuals in connection with the death of a woman during childbirth at a private hospital. This action was taken as part of an ongoing drive against crime and fraudulent medical practices in the district.

The case pertains to M.D. Hospital in Koiri, Shadiabad, where a woman named Kanchan Bharti tragically lost her life due to excessive bleeding during a botched surgery.

Investigations revealed that unqualified doctors had performed the operation, leading to fatal complications. Following a complaint by Kanta Ram, the victim’s father-in-law, an FIR was lodged under case number 106/25, invoking sections 61(2)/105/3(5) of the BNS.

Based on this complaint, the police launched an operation and arrested the following individuals:

1. Dharmendra Kumar Yadav,  Ghazipur
2. Manisha Yadav, Ghazipur
3. Ajit Yadav alias Golu,  Ghazipur
4. Ajay Yadav,  Ghazipur

The police are conducting further investigations and taking legal action against the arrested individuals. This case has once again highlighted the growing menace of fake doctors and unauthorized medical facilities operating in rural areas.

Authorities have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any illegal medical establishments to the administration. This crackdown marks a significant step toward ensuring safe and lawful healthcare services for the people of Ghazipur.
