A Florida resident, Ronald “Blue” Denton, has initiated a class-action lawsuit against Netflix, accusing the streaming giant of technical failures during the much-anticipated Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight. The lawsuit claims the disruptions caused widespread dissatisfaction among subscribers eager to watch the event, promoted as a marquee sporting spectacle.

The live-streamed fight, scheduled for November 15, was expected to draw massive viewership globally. However, according to Denton, persistent glitches and interruptions marred the experience, leaving countless fans unable to enjoy the bout in its entirety.

Denton’s case seeks compensation for affected viewers, alongside measures to ensure such failures are avoided in the future.

Netflix has yet to issue a formal response to the lawsuit. The case underscores the challenges streaming services face in meeting audience expectations for large-scale live events. If successful, this lawsuit could set a precedent for how streaming platforms address technical shortcomings and maintain trust with their subscribers.
