A startling case has come to light in Jaipur, where a young man living a lavish lifestyle without any known source of income was caught by the police. His frequent visits to Jaipur International Airport raised suspicions, prompting law enforcement to step in.
Upon being questioned, his revelations left the police stunned. He was immediately taken into custody, leading to shocking discoveries about an elaborate cyber fraud network. Authorities are now actively tracking down his associates.
The Rajasthan Police Headquarters’ Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) uncovered an international cyber fraud ring while operating in Jaipur on Wednesday. The AGTF team apprehended Yashwant Singh Panwar, a resident of Gurjar Colony in Shastri Nagar, Jaipur.

The police seized 61 active mobile SIM cards and two mobile phones from him. He is currently in custody and undergoing thorough interrogation. This operation was conducted under the guidance of AGTF Additional SP Siddhant Sharma, based on information provided by Head Constable Hemant Sharma.
During interrogation, Yashwant Panwar revealed that he was acting under the instructions of a cyber fraud syndicate ringleader based in Dubai. He would procure active SIM cards from Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, registered under fictitious names and addresses. These SIM cards were then sent to the cyber fraud group in Dubai. The SIM cards were ordered in Jaipur and transported via courier on flights to Dubai.
This syndicate utilises small SIM boxes capable of holding and activating 30 to 40 SIM cards simultaneously. Indian SIM cards are inserted into these boxes and activated.
Subsequently, Abhishek, who operates a call centre in Dubai, perpetrates cyber fraud through various mobile gaming applications and other means. Investigations have revealed the involvement of gang members Yogendra Khinchi alias Ronnie alias Ravi, Rocky, Guru from Punjab, Indra from Hanumangarh Junction, and Jatin and Harmeet Singh, residents of Shastri Nagar, Jaipur.
