Why India Needs a New Generation of Cyber Auditors
Cybersecurity auditing is becoming significantly more complex.
Organisations today operate across cloud platforms, SaaS applications, APIs, remote endpoints, third-party ecosystems and AI-enabled systems. At the same time, security teams must navigate a growing set of regulatory expectations and demonstrate not merely that controls exist, but that they are effective.
That is why the CCSA program places strong emphasis on risk-driven cyber assurance rather than periodic checklist audits. Its curriculum begins with audit lifecycle, evidence management, documentation, reporting and professional conduct, then moves into cyber governance, enterprise risk, board and CISO oversight, KRIs, KPIs and security metrics.

From Cloud and SOC Audits to DFIR and AI Risk
The 16-module structure goes well beyond conventional GRC training.
Participants will study identity and access security, privileged access management, Zero Trust, Active Directory, network architecture, firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR and secure configuration.
The curriculum also covers vulnerability management, VAPT, CVE and CVSS, threat intelligence, threat hunting, breach-and-attack simulation and continuous control validation.
Cloud and application environments receive dedicated attention through topics including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, CSPM, CNAPP, Kubernetes, container security, API security, Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, SBOM and software supply-chain risk.
Later modules move into third-party and vendor risk, SOC operations, SIEM, SOAR, detection engineering, incident response, digital forensics, ransomware preparedness, backup integrity, disaster recovery and tabletop exercises.
The final module addresses one of the fastest-moving areas in cyber assurance: AI and emerging technology security auditing, including generative AI, agentic AI, AI governance, model security, prompt security, shadow AI, IoT and OT/ICS risk.
FCRF Academy positions the course as a certification for the “next generation” of cybersecurity auditors who must be able to assess control effectiveness across governance, technology and resilience—not simply verify documentation.
FCRF Academy Builds on a Growing Training Track Record
The CCSA program is also being launched against FCRF Academy’s broader track record in cybersecurity and professional capacity building.
