A Warm Welcome and a Spark of Connection
The energy was truly electric when B.G. Krishnan, our very own Indian Consul in Dubai, officially opened the Indian Pavilion. It wasn’t just a ribbon-cutting; it was a moment that sparked important conversations, including an Indo-UAE Cyber Exchange. This special initiative is all about building stronger connections between the talented Indian professionals living in the UAE and the key players in the region’s cybersecurity scene. You could feel the ambition in the air – everyone was eager to connect and collaborate.
A Royal Seal of Approval and a Nation’s Interest
One of the real highlights was when His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a prominent figure as the Vice Chairman of the Dubai Academic Health Corporation, took the time to visit the Indian Pavilion during the expo’s big opening.
His genuine curiosity about India’s cybersecurity landscape and the time he spent understanding what we have to offer was truly remarkable. It underscored just how significant India’s presence is on the global stage and the valuable contributions we bring to keeping our digital lives secure.
Adding to this sense of partnership, the Indian Pavilion was also honored by a visit from Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, the top cybersecurity official for the entire UAE government. This wasn’t just a courtesy call; it felt like a strong vote of confidence, reflecting the growing trust and the deepening collaboration between our two nations in this critical area.
Meet the Bright Minds Protecting Our Digital World
The Indian Pavilion was buzzing with the energy of over 15 dynamic companies, each showcasing their cutting-edge solutions designed to tackle the complex challenges of cybersecurity.
These are just some of the brilliant companies that were proudly representing India:
Protectt.ai, miniOrange, Odyssey Technologies, Cymmetri, DoveRunner, JISA Softech Private Limited, DataBahn.ai, QNu Labs, Cyint Technologies, IntelliSecure, Klassify Technology Pvt. Ltd., AttackFence Techlabs, Innspark, Quilr, Appknox, GoTrust, Accops, FourCore, CyberSRC Labs Pvt. Ltd.

Building Bridges, One Conversation at a Time
Beyond the main expo floor, the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) hosted the second edition of the Indo-UAE Cyber Security Exchange in Dubai, teaming up with CIO Klub. Think of this as a focused meeting where the sharpest minds in security and technology from both India and the UAE came together. It was a fantastic opportunity to build real connections and explore potential partnerships between the companies offering solutions, the organizations that use them, and the innovators pushing the boundaries.
The conversations were lively and focused on some of the most important topics in cybersecurity today: how to bounce back from cyberattacks, building strong cybersecurity leadership, strengthening the bond between India and the UAE in this field, and working together on new technologies and ideas. They also discussed the critical areas of data protection and how our two nations can collaborate to address these challenges together.
Words of Wisdom and a Shared Vision
B.G. Krishnan, with his insightful perspective as the Indian Consul, perfectly captured the moment. He pointed out that we’re at a critical point globally when it comes to cybersecurity, privacy, and the technologies that underpin our digital world. He emphasized the rapid pace of threats, the constant advancements in technology, and the complex geopolitical landscape. “This makes cybersecurity a natural area for strategic collaboration between India and the UAE, which will bolster national resilience, economic trust, and regional stability,” he wisely noted.
Atul Kumar, Director of DSCI, further highlighted the strategic importance of this collaboration. As India and the UAE deepen their overall relationship, cybersecurity has become a vital area for working together. He explained that as both nations become increasingly digital, a secure online infrastructure is essential for economic growth, public services, and national security. “With shared interests in securing the cyberspace, we can jointly nurture ecosystems from both sides and strengthen the Cyberspace,” he stated with conviction.
The message was clear: India is not just participating in the global cybersecurity conversation; it’s actively shaping it, hand-in-hand with trusted partners like the UAE
