In an initiative aimed at recognizing the brightest young minds shaping the future of cyber security, the Centre for Police Technology has announced the launch of “Hackers 30 Under 30”, a global recognition program to honour exceptional young professionals working in the fields of ethical hacking, cyber security, digital forensics, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VA/PT), and computer security research.
The initiative seeks to identify and celebrate 30 outstanding cyber talents under the age of 30 who are making significant contributions to strengthening digital security ecosystems. The program especially encourages nominations from India, while also welcoming submissions from talented cyber professionals across the world.
The recognition aims to highlight individuals who have demonstrated exceptional skills as ethical hackers, penetration testers, cyber defenders, digital forensic experts, and computer security researchers. Candidates will be evaluated based on their technical work, professional achievements, innovative solutions, research contributions, and their impact on cyber security practices in government, industry, and corporate sectors. Social media influence, thought leadership, and contributions to the broader cyber security community will also be considered.
The final list of “Hackers 30 Under 30” will be announced on 1 May 2026. Selected individuals will be honoured with a Certificate of Honour in recognition of their contributions to strengthening the global cyber security landscape.
A virtual award ceremony will also be organized where each of the selected honourees will be given five minutes to share their passion, work, and future vision with the global cyber security community.
The jury panel, led by Prof. Triveni Singh, Former IPS Officer and Renowned Cybersecurity Expert will carefully evaluate nominations and select the final 30 candidates based on their professional work, innovative contributions, public impact, and their role in advancing cyber defence and security research. Nominations shall be filed only by those who are under 30 years of age. Domains include : Cyber crime Investigation, Cyber Law , AI Security.
