New Delhi: The third edition of FutureCrime Summit 2026 is set to bring a power-packed programme to Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 6–7 August, with sessions spanning cyber warfare, AI-powered crime, digital forensics, financial fraud, quantum security, privacy, cyber law and the future of policing.
The two-day agenda will run across the Main Hall and Innovation Hall, combining high-level policy conversations with practical workshops, technology demonstrations and specialised discussions for police officers, cybersecurity professionals, investigators, government officials, defence personnel and forensic experts.
The summit will open on 6 August with the inaugural session, “Future Crime, National Security & Policy Roadmap: Building India’s Resilient Digital Future.” The announced speakers include Lt Gen Rajesh Pant, Dr Sanjay Bahl, Dr Amit Sharma, Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra and Dr Gulshan Rai—bringing together experience from national cybersecurity, CERT-In, defence and strategic leadership.
From AI-Powered Crime to Financial Fraud
The first day will examine how crime is evolving at machine speed.
A major panel on AI-powered cybercrime and the new threat landscape will feature speakers including Dr Pavan Duggal, Maj Gen Dr Bipin Bakshi, Megha Khetarpal, Mini Rani Sharma and Somen Das.
Other sessions will focus on protecting critical infrastructure, cyber resilience, digital payments, financial-fraud prevention, cryptocurrency crime, AML intelligence, predictive policing, OSINT and dark-web investigations. The agenda also includes focused discussions on compliance with RBI, SEBI and CERT-In requirements and the use of AI in digital forensics.
I4C to Lead AI-Powered Investigation Workshop
One of the major Innovation Hall highlights will be the AI-Powered Policing and Investigation Workshop led by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, Ministry of Home Affairs.
The workshop is scheduled for 11 a.m. on 6 August and will be conducted by Rushi Mehta and the I4C team. It is expected to offer practical insights into how AI can support policing, evidence analysis, cybercrime investigation and future-ready law-enforcement operations.
The Innovation Hall programme will also feature sessions on AI-powered cyber resilience, emerging crimes in the AI era, setting up cybersecurity laboratories and AI-driven SOC capabilities.
Cyber Warfare, Quantum Security and Digital Peace on Day Two
The second day will begin with “The New Theatre of Conflict: Cyber Warfare, Geopolitical Rivalries and National Security.”
The announced lineup includes Rajiv Jain, former Director of the Intelligence Bureau; Arun Kumar, former DG, RPF; Maj Gen Dr Sandeep Sharma; Maj Gen Dr Rajan Kochhar; Dr Alok Vijayant; and Air Vice Marshal Dr Devesh Vatsa.
The following session, “Beyond Encryption: Quantum-Safe Security and Future Tech-Crimes,” will bring together Justice Talwant Singh, Prof Amit Dubey, Dr Amit Kumar Chauhan, Dr PK Khosla and Balaji Kapsikar.
The agenda will also explore international cooperation against emerging cyber threats, with participation from Suhel Daud of the FBI’s US Embassy office, Maj Gen Dr Pawan Anand and other policy and diplomatic voices.
Child Safety, Privacy and the Future of Evidence
The second-day programme will address some of the most urgent human and legal dimensions of cybercrime.
A panel on child safety, cyberstalking, online victim protection and CSAM will feature Sampurna, Smita Mitra, Tanmayee Tilekar, Garima Goswamy, Paakhhi Garg and Shonal D.
Another session will examine the transition from privacy compliance to responsible AI governance under the DPDP framework, while a separate discussion on the next evidence frontier will cover cloud, drone, IoT, vehicle and location forensics.
The summit will conclude with a discussion on future policing, digital crime, forensics and technology law, examining how criminal justice must adapt to new forms of evidence and technology-enabled crime.
Innovation Hall to Deliver Practical Learning
The Innovation Hall will feature a strong operational programme across both days.
Day two includes a live Cyber Range for Cyber Commandos, a threat-intelligence workshop, a cyber-crisis command and response exercise, mobile and cyber-forensics demonstrations, next-generation investigation tools, data-fiduciary accountability, AI-powered SOC operations and a panel on emerging cybercrimes and new laws.
Together, these sessions are designed to give attendees both strategic perspective and practical exposure.
