Future Crime Research Foundation and PayTM Conduct Cyber Security Workshop at The Modern School, Lucknow

Lucknow, January 16, 2025: The Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF), in collaboration with Paytm, conducted an insightful cyber security workshop at The Modern School, Lucknow. The session, attended by 250 students, aimed to educate young minds about the significance of staying safe in the digital world.

The workshop was led by Advocate Titiksha Srivastav, an associate at FCRF, who emphasized critical aspects of cyber security, including its importance, the dangers of cyberbullying, and the concept of “digital arrest.” She explained, “In today’s interconnected world, understanding cyber security is not just a choice but a necessity. Students must be aware of the potential threats and learn to protect themselves online.”

Ms. Meena Kane, the school’s principal, also addressed the gathering, sharing real-life examples of cybercrime incidents. She urged students to be vigilant and responsible digital citizens. “Technology is a boon, but misuse can lead to severe consequences. Always think before you click and stay informed,” she advised.

The session provided students with practical knowledge and strategies to navigate the digital landscape safely. Topics like identifying cyber threats, reporting online harassment, and safeguarding personal information were discussed in detail.

The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students enthusiastically participated, reflecting their keen interest in the subject. FCRF reiterated its commitment to spreading cyber awareness among the youth, fostering a safer digital environment for all.
