FCRF in collaboration with Paytm Hosts 3rd Cybersecurity Workshop at Pragyan Public School, Jewar, Greater Noida
Jewar, Greater Noida – The Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF), in collaboration with Paytm, successfully conducted its 3rd Cybersecurity Workshop at Pragyan Public School on January 19, 2025. The event witnessed an impressive turnout of students, staff, and parents, aiming to create awareness about online safety in an increasingly digital world.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the growing menace of cybercrime and equip participants with the tools to safeguard themselves in the digital age.
The workshop was graced by several distinguished guests, including MLA Dhirendra Singh, Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, DCP Khan, ACP Sengar, renowned cyber expert Amit Dubey, Chief Mentor of FCRF Prof. Triveni Singh, and cyber security expert Naveen Kumar Singh.
MLA Dhirendra Singh emphasized the importance of collective efforts to combat cybercrime. “Cybersecurity is not just the responsibility of experts but of every individual. Awareness is our first line of defense,” he said.
Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh highlighted the increasing sophistication of cybercriminals. “The police are committed to tackling cyber threats, but public awareness and vigilance are crucial in this fight,” she remarked.
Cyber expert Amit Dubey captivated the audience with real-life case studies. “Understanding how cybercriminals operate can help us stay one step ahead. Education is key,” he noted.
Prof. Triveni Singh underscored the need for proactive measures. “Cybercrime is evolving rapidly. We must adopt a proactive approach to secure our digital presence,” he stated.
Naveen Kumar Singh provided practical tips to the attendees. “Simple steps like strong passwords and cautious online behavior can prevent major cyber threats,” he advised.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and staff, leaving them better equipped to navigate the digital world safely.
