The Future Crime Research Foundation has already made its mark through initiatives such as the Certified Cyber Crisis Management Professional (CCMP) course, developed in collaboration with CERT-In, and the Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) program, now in progress. Both have drawn hundreds of participants, including law enforcement officers, corporate executives, and government officials. With its proposed Certification in Cyber Laws, the foundation is signaling an ambition to establish a permanent academic pillar for digital governance in India.
A Curriculum Anchored in Law and Technology
The program’s syllabus reads like a comprehensive map of India’s cyber legal landscape. It spans the IT Act of 2000, including provisions on hacking, identity theft, and cyber terrorism, as well as penalties, adjudication, and safe harbor under the 2021 Intermediary Guidelines. Participants will study the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, along with recent provisions in the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) 2023, which address digital evidence and cybercrime investigation. Modules on digital forensics, e-signatures, and emerging risks such as AI, NFTs, and cryptocurrency reflect the program’s forward-looking design.

A Structured Invitation to Instructors
The Academy is inviting a wide pool of experts to apply as instructors. Legal practitioners, cyber lawyers, experienced advocates, professors, and law firm partners are encouraged to register. By contributing to the program, instructors will not only shape the learning experience of hundreds of participants but also join a distinguished panel of voices guiding India’s digital legal future. Interested experts can do so through a dedicated registration link, where they will be asked to fill in their details and tick the modules they are qualified to teach. Faculty members may select multiple topics, allowing the program to benefit from specialists with diverse expertise. After registration, the academy will reach out directly to provide further details, including schedules and engagement terms.
Recognition and Honorarium
Unlike many volunteer-driven initiatives, the academy is offering an honorarium to its instructors. This is designed both as recognition of professional expertise and as an incentive to ensure the program is delivered at the highest academic and practical standard. By combining a structured curriculum with compensated teaching opportunities, FCRF hopes to build an ecosystem that is academically rigorous while also sustainable for instructors.
