New Delhi — In a strong signal of India’s growing commitment to data privacy, the Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF) has confirmed that hundreds of senior professionals, including senior civil servants, defence officials, CISOs, cybersecurity professionals and top industry leaders, have already joined its upcoming Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) course. The program, starting September 6, 2025, is seeing unprecedented demand, with early bird seats rapidly filling up.
A Timely Response to India’s Data Privacy Revolution
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), enacted in 2023 and rolling out in phases through 2025, is redefining the way organisations collect, process, and protect personal data. The law mandates stringent consent protocols, data minimisation, cross-border transfer restrictions, and stiff penalties for non-compliance. - Risk, Breach & Vendor Oversight — DPIAs, breach notifications, vendor contracts, and audit readiness.
