Data of Bangalore Based Language Learning Platform Leaks On Russian Forums: Cyber Experts
New Delhi: Every day a new case of data leak is coming to light. Now, Indian cyber researchers have found that that data of Bangalore based company Language Station is being sold on the internet.
Multiple cybersecurity experts and researchers have confirmed The420.in that hackers have leaked the full data of languagestation.org on Russian underground forum.
Researchers said the data dump is available for download for free.
Languagestation.org provides online language-based courses for individuals. On its website, the company claims “the first of its kind platform in the world which gives an opportunity for the language speakers and language learners to connect, communicate and share, thereby enabling people across the globe to communicate fluently in the language of their choice. It is a live, instructor-led, learning platform.”
Cyber experts claim there will be no current problem with the data leak, but these individuals are prone to more sophisticated cyber attacks. Cybercriminals have beforehand idea and details of customer which helps them in scripting their social engineering attack more effectively.
The company has not confirmed the leak yet.
