Cyber Safety Workshop Hosted by AKTU in Collaboration with Future Crime Research Foundation, CDAC, MeitY, Lucknow University, I4C, and UP Cyber Police

LUCKNOW: Prof. Triveni Singh, Ex-IPS and Chief Mentor of the Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF) , delivered insightful addresses at two significant cybersecurity events in Lucknow today.

The first event, Prof. Singh addressed a session of the Uttar Pradesh Cyber Safety & Security Awareness Week (December 19-24) at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. This initiative, organized by the Information Security Education & Awareness (ISEA) program in collaboration with the Future Crime Research Foundation In association with CDAC, MeitY, AKTU , UP Cyber Police and I4C , the “Stay Safe Online” campaign by the Government of India, and the Innovation Hub Uttar Pradesh aimed to promote digital safety practices.

“Collaboration between institutions, law enforcement, and the government is essential to combat evolving cyber threats. Awareness and education are our strongest defenses against cybercrime” , emphasised Prof. Triveni Singh.

The event, held under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jai Prakash Pandey, also featured ADG Cyber Crime Uttar Pradesh, Shri Binod K. Singh.

Later in the day, organized by the Department of Defence Studies in collaboration with the Institute of Women’s Studies at Lucknow University, focused on cybersecurity and cyber safety. Held under the patronage of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, the session highlighted the growing challenges in the digital space. Dr. Manini Srivastav, Coordinator of Shakti Mission, also participated, emphasizing the importance of empowering women in the realm of cybersecurity.

Prof. Singh stressed the urgent need for collective efforts in combating cyber threats and fostering a secure digital ecosystem. Both events underscored the critical role of awareness and education in addressing cybercrime.
