NEW DELHI: The Union Home Secretary on Monday released three manuals and a newsletter from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), which is part of the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Cyber and Information Security Division (CIS).
The manuals and the newsletter released were:-

Cyber Hygiene for Cyber Space – Dos and Don’ts – Advanced Manual
Quarterly Newsletter – CyberPravah
The manuals are part of a targeted awareness campaign aimed at preventing cybercrime and instilling cyber hygiene in rural communities, industrial organisations, and the general public. The Quarterly Newsletter – “CyberPravah” covers an introduction to I4C, various activities of I4C in two quarters (April-June, 2021 and July-September, 2021), cybercrime trends/patterns, statistics, I4C facilities, platforms for reporting and addressing cybercrimes to make all stakeholders aware and to provide assistance in the areas of cybercrime prevention, detection, and investigation. It also attempts to raise knowledge about contemporary advancements in cybercrime and cybercrime terminology.
In 2018, the I4C was established under the CIS Division as an Agency for Central Coordination and to support States/UTs by offering a unified framework in their fight against cybercrime.
I4C is raising public awareness about cyber safety through various social media handles under the banner of ‘CyberDost,’ delivering cyber safety suggestions at regular intervals.
