Chaos Among Students and Parents as FIITJEE Suddenly Shuts Down; Parents Accuse of Rs 2,000 Crore Fraud

NOIDA: In a surprising turn of events, students and their parents across Noida and the country were left in shock on Wednesday when FIIT JEE, a prominent coaching institute, announced its sudden merger with Aakash Institute via an email.
This unexpected declaration has caused deep concern among thousands of students and their families, particularly those enrolled at FIIT JEE’s Noida Sector 62 center.
Distressed parents have filed complaints at Sector 58 police station, alleging that their grievances have been met with mere assurances and no formal FIR has been registered.
The Issue at Hand
FIIT JEE’s email stated that all enrolled students could continue their studies at Aakash Institute. However, this abrupt shift has disrupted the preparation plans of students gearing up for board exams and competitive entrance tests. Hundreds of parents have lodged complaints against the institute and its director, D.K. Goel, at Noida’s Sector 58 police station.

According to the parents, they had paid substantial fees for their children’s admission to FIIT JEE, with some paying 50%, others 80%, and many paying the entire amount upfront. Alok Kumar, a concerned parent, shared, “We invested our hard-earned money in this institute, but now it has shut down without warning.”
FIIT JEE’s sudden closure has reportedly affected thousands of students in Noida and NCR, with nationwide repercussions impacting lakhs of students who relied on the institute for their academic preparation. Parents have alleged that this abrupt move has led to financial fraud amounting to approximately Rs 2,000 crores.
Demands for an FIR
Parents have accused FIIT JEE’s director, D.K. Goel, of absconding following this alleged scam. They claim that the authorities and police have failed to grasp the gravity of the situation. Despite multiple attempts to file an FIR, parents allege that their efforts have only been met with vague assurances.
