Mathura, Uttar Pradesh : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested an accused from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, for his involvement in the sexual abuse of multiple minors and the possession, creation, and dissemination of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). The arrest came as part of a suo-motu investigation initiated by the agency.
CBI Launches Suo-Motu Case and Seizes Incriminating Digital Evidence
The case was registered on June 17, 2025, under serious charges including creation, collection, storage, and uploading of CSAM depicting minors in explicit sexual acts. Acting swiftly, the CBI conducted a search at the accused’s residence on June 19, leading to the seizure of incriminating electronic devices.
A subsequent forensic analysis revealed a substantial volume of CSAM in the form of images and videos. These findings were validated through international cybercrime intelligence tools, including INTERPOL’s International Child Sexual Exploitation (ICSE) database and Cyber Tipline Reports (CTRs) generated by Google, which were shared with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Victims Rescued; Accused Taken Into Custody
The forensic data revealed extremely disturbing evidence: minor children being sexually abused, threatened, and filmed. Based on the material, the CBI successfully identified, traced, and rescued the victim children. The accused was arrested on June 21, 2025, and is currently in custody.
What makes the case more concerning is that neither the victims nor their families had lodged any complaints. The crime was uncovered entirely through CBI’s proactive cyber surveillance and international collaboration efforts.
