In response to the rapid rise in cryptocurrency-related frauds and cyber-enabled financial crimes, the Centre for Police Technology is organizing a high-impact webinar on “Crypto Crimes, Investigation, Seizure and Recovery of Stolen Cryptos” on 21st April at 3 PM via Zoom. The session will be moderated by Prof. Triveni Singh, Former IPS Officer, bringing deep investigative insight and leadership to the discussion.
The webinar will feature three distinguished experts. A Crypto Recovery Expert will share practical strategies for tracing and recovering stolen digital assets. A Blockchain Technology & Crypto Exchange Expert will explain the functioning of blockchain ecosystems, exchanges, compliance mechanisms, and transaction tracking. A Crypto Crime Investigator will provide real-world perspectives on investigating crypto-enabled crimes, including case-based learnings and enforcement challenges.
The session aims to equip participants with actionable knowledge on blockchain tracing, identification of suspect wallets, legal provisions for seizure, coordination with exchanges, and recovery frameworks. As crypto crimes become more sophisticated, this initiative seeks to strengthen the capabilities of stakeholders dealing with digital asset risks.
