In an era where cyber fraud is draining the hard-earned savings of ordinary citizens, Dr. Pushpendra Singh, posted with the State Cyber Police, Gwalior, has emerged as one of India’s most distinguished cyber crime investigators. Known for combining technical expertise with public service, he has played a remarkable role in preventing financial losses, solving complex cyber fraud cases, and supporting victims across the country.

One of his most notable contributions has been the development of a platform that brought police departments from across India onto a single system. Through this initiative, more than ₹95 crore fraudulently withdrawn from the bank accounts of poor and common citizens through digital means was successfully blocked and recovered. This innovation earned First Prize at the All India Level from the Government of Haryana in 2019 at Gurugram under the category of Digital Innovation & Cyber Security.

In 2020, Dr. Pushpendra Singh was honoured with the prestigious E-Raksha Award at the All India Level in Delhi by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), Ministry of Home Affairs, for developing a unique platform to control cyber fraud. His work continued to gain national recognition in 2021, when he received the National Cyber Award from CRCIDF, Hyderabad, along with the title of Best Cyber Investigator Award, for successfully solving India’s first international cyber fraud case conducted through the darknet, involving fraud worth crores across multiple countries.

His achievements grew further in 2022, when he was conferred the title of Ambassador of Indian Cyber Crime Investigator at the All India Level by the Global Cyber Crime Helpline, Maharashtra. In the same year, he was again selected for the E-Raksha Award 2022 at the National Level by the NCRB and Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, for controlling and solving darknet-based fraud and helping achieve a recovery of approximately ₹240 crore on nodal company platforms.

These accomplishments have made Dr. Pushpendra Singh a trailblazer in Indian policing. He is recognized as the first constable from Madhya Pradesh to receive five consecutive All India level awards in the cyber domain. For this extraordinary achievement, his name has been recorded in the India Book of Records, making him the first police personnel in India to receive five national awards.

His recognition soon extended beyond India. After surveys conducted across six countries, including Vietnam, Malaysia, and Nepal, his name was included in the Asia Book of Records, where he was conferred the title of Grandmaster for achieving five national awards at a young age in the cyber domain. This marked the first time in Asia that a police personnel received such recognition in the field.

Adding another milestone to his journey, Dr. Pushpendra Singh was recently awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Delhi for cracking a high number of cyber crime cases by using the same resources in smarter and more effective ways in the field of cyber law. The recognition was reportedly based on victim feedback from across India, reflecting his strong technical, personal, and professional approach in assisting people affected by cyber crime.

Beyond awards, his contribution to public service has been wide-ranging. He provides technical support in cyber crime cases across India, from Leh-Ladakh to Kanyakumari, and has also received appreciation from leading private sector institutions, including recognition from the Global Head of Amazon and the India Head of PhonePe, where he was honoured as Best Support Officer.

Driven by a social mission, Dr. Pushpendra Singh has also been running the public-help website [www.cyberfraudhelp.in](http://www.cyberfraudhelp.in) since 2017, especially to support economically weaker sections. The platform, operated at personal expense along with his associate Mr. Radha Raman Tripathi, has assisted the public extensively and has also extended support to the Nepal Police.

With a rare blend of innovation, dedication, public outreach, and investigative skill, Dr. Pushpendra Singh stands today as an inspiring example of how committed police personnel can use technology not only to crack cyber crime, but also to restore trust and hope among citizens.
