1. Delhi Cyber Police Arrests Fraudster, Recovers Rs 2.4 Lakh

Delhi Cyber Police arrested a man, 26, from Tripura for duping another man of Rs 2.66 lakh in a fake parcel scam. Him, posing as a delivery agent, conned the victim into paying for a non-existent package. Police recovered Rs 2.4 lakh after extensive investigation.

2. Tiruppur Resident Loses Rs 7.3 Lakh in Part-Time Job Scam; Two Arrested

Tiruppur police, Chennai arrested two men for duping a man of Rs 7.3 lakh in a part-time job scam. Posing as an executive, a lady lured the victim via Telegram into completing tasks and investing. The accused, laundered money through mule accounts and Binance. Both are now in custody.

3. Hyderabad Man Defrauded of Rs 8 Crore by Fraudsters Posing as Stock Traders

Telangana Cyber Police arrested two for duping a Hyderabad man of Rs 8.14 crore in a stock trading scam. The duo used fake apps and manipulated profits to lure investments. Linked to 52 fraud cases nationwide, they were arrested in Rajasthan. Police seized Rs 75 lakh and three mobiles.

4. Fake TRAI and CBI Officers Swindle Rs 26 Lakh from Woman

A Chandivali, Mumbai woman lost Rs 26.33 lakh to fraudsters posing as TRAI, CBI, and cybercrime officials. Claiming to investigate money laundering, they coerced her into transferring funds, issuing a fake ‘digital arrest’ order. She liquidated investments to comply. A complaint was filed with West Region Cyber Police.

5. Hyderabad Bank Manager Prevents Rs 30 Lakh Cyber Fraud Targeting Elderly Couple

A Hyderabad SBI branch manager, saved a senior citizen couple from losing Rs 30 lakh to cyber fraud. Posing as customs officials, scammers pressured the elderly man to transfer funds, citing a fake money-laundering case. Manager’s swift action and police alert exposed the fraud, safeguarding their life savings.

6. Russian Hackers Exploit Zero-Day Flaw in Firefox, Thunderbird, and Tor Browser
