CBI Intensifies Anti-Corruption Drive

This case is part of a broader initiative by the CBI to root out corruption in revenue departments across India. In recent months, the agency has intensified surveillance and complaint redressal mechanisms to identify systemic bribery patterns. The arrest of a CGST officer highlights ongoing concerns regarding unethical practices in the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax regime.
