Popular YouTuber and NRI A Rama Nandana, known through her channel ‘Nandu’s World’, was detained by immigration authorities at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport after Andhra Pradesh police issued a lookout notice against her in connection with an alleged overseas job fraud.
Nandana and her husband, J Madhukar, are accused of collecting large sums of money from several people after allegedly promising to arrange jobs and sponsorships in London, United Kingdom. Police are investigating the allegations and the amount allegedly collected from victims.
Couple Accused of Promising Jobs in London
The couple, originally from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, allegedly targeted unemployed people with assurances of securing high-paying jobs abroad.
According to police, multiple cases have been registered in connection with the alleged fraud in Ibrahimpatnam in Andhra Pradesh and other areas. A lookout circular was subsequently issued against Nandana. Airport authorities and police identified and detained her when she arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
The allegations centre on money allegedly collected from people on the promise that employment and sponsorship opportunities would be arranged for them in London.

Nandana was detained by immigration authorities at the Hyderabad airport following the lookout notice issued by Andhra Pradesh police. She is expected to be handed over to Ibrahimpatnam police for further investigation and legal proceedings in Andhra Pradesh.
Police are examining the allegations against both Nandana and her husband, including the amount of money allegedly collected from victims and the extent of the suspected overseas job fraud. The investigation is also expected to examine the cases already registered against her and the circumstances surrounding the alleged collection of money from people seeking employment abroad.
