The scammer posed as an Army officer to gain her trust, using a forged identity and convincing story to extort money under the pretext of transport and documentation charges for a non-existent product.
2. Gurugram police uncover ₹72 crore cyber fraud syndicate
Gurugram Police have busted a massive cyber fraud racket involving 55 accused who allegedly defrauded victims of ₹72.49 crore across India. Led by ACP, the probe linked the group to 18,228 complaints and 597 FIRs, including 48 in Haryana. Further investigation is ongoing.
3. Coimbatore businessman duped of ₹64 lakh in overseas job racket

5. Three arrested in Rajkot for supplying bank accounts to cybercriminals
Cybercrime police arrested three Rajkot-based labourers for providing bank accounts to a gang involved in a ₹1.28 crore stock market fraud.
