4. Panchkula Businessman Loses Rs 1.5 Crore in Cyber Fraud Incident

A Panchkula businessman, Somesh R Mittal, was duped of Rs 1.5 crore by cybercriminals promising profits from online investments. Contacted via Telegram by Nancy Singh, who claimed ties to a US-based trader, Mittal was lured into depositing money through an app called “Bitsunny.” The fraudsters later disappeared, deleting all communication.

5. Nine Himachal Pradesh Police Officers Chosen for Cyber Commando Training
