The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a 2021-batch IRS officer and two other income tax department officials in Patna for allegedly accepting a ₹2 lakh bribe to return ₹13 lakh earlier seized from a complainant. All three were caught red-handed during a trap operation.
